The Metro Jr. Jets Girls Hockey program hosted its second annual fall season kick-off event Saturday at Mt. Clemens Ice Arena, and the marquee event was a rivalry showdown between the Michigan and Michigan State women’s teams. Capping off a day that featured multiple Jr. Jets games and a celebration of girls’ hockey throughout, the Wolverines and Spartans played in front of a substantial crowd at The Clem, with Michigan prevailing 3-1 in the contest.
