Each hockey season, the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association hosts a series of Mite Jamborees, in which 8U teams from across Michigan gather for a fun-filled day of games against opponents they may not traditionally get to compete against. For the 2023-24 season, there will be at least four jamborees – events held in Chelsea, Plymouth, East Lansing and Traverse City and potentially more. For an idea of what a Mite Jamboree offers, check out this video from last year’s event, the first of its kind held at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth.
